Peter Mavrogenes
Prior to the formation of ICA, Peter was a founder and Chief Investment Officer at Asset Allocation & Management Company where he had overall responsibility for $11 billion of insurance company assets, and was directly responsible for $6 billion (over half) of AAM’s assets in his dual role as Senior Portfolio Manager. He specialized in senior structured assets including MBS, ABS, and CMBS sectors and has been a specialist in interest sensitive liabilities including annuities and universal life products. Peter has been involved in insurance asset management since the early 1980s.

Tony Pervan
Tony has served as CFO of the Dillon Kane Group businesses since 2018 and has been involved in ICA Real Estate Advisors for the past decade. Tony applies his unique background in finance, entrepreneurship, technology, and engineering to provide actionable analysis and financial guidance across a wide range of business models and market verticals. Prior to joining Dillon Kane, Tony’s experience included chemical engineering research, software development, real estate, and government laboratory technology transfer.

David Ogdon
Formerly a Principal at Asset, Allocation & Management Co., David managed $2 billion of assets for insurance company clients. He is familiar with complex balance sheet and investment portfolio management issues, and was the point person for relationships with “think tanks” and complex trades for AAM with major Wall Street firms. David is a key architect, analyst and portfolio manager behind ICA, and has extensive experience in negotiating complex security structures with Wall Street and alternative investment providers..

Bob Malone
Before joining ICA in 2017, Bob spent thirteen years at KeyBank Real Estate Capital, one of the nation’s largest commercial mortgage loan servicers. At KeyBank, he managed a team that provided loan surveillance to a $200 billion portfolio and had extensive experience in the areas of financial statement analysis, watch list management, transaction underwriting and investor relations. His experience includes an array of products including CMBS, Life Company, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Bank loans. He currently oversees all functions of operations in our Leawood, KS office.
Closing Specialist
Melinda Byrd
Melinda was in the Business Man’s Assurance Company’s Investment Department from 2000-2003. For two of those years Melinda was an integral part of the Mortgage area, assisting in loan closings, servicing, and underwriting. Prior to joining BMA she spent 10 years in the residential loan closing business. She has been with ICA since 2004.
Manager, Mortgage Services
Zachary Yardley
Zach oversees ICA’s loan servicing and asset management functions. He was previously employed by Grandbridge Real Estate Capital (2012-2020), a major commercial real estate brokerage and servicing firm, where he serviced a portfolio of 300+ loans across multiple Life Insurance companies and managed the relationship with each Lender. Prior to Grandbridge, Zach was employed with KeyBank Real Estate Capital (2005-2012) serving the Life Insurance and On-Balance Sheet platforms performing asset management and financial analysis. He has been with ICA since 2020.
Loan Servicing Specialist
Reba Robertson
Reba assists in the servicing of the loans, the portfolio management and reporting of the monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports. She also aids in the underwriting process. Prior to ICA, she worked as a loan processor in the residential mortgage loan business. She has been with ICA since 2013.
Administrative Assistant
Lisa Faber
Lisa was employed by Asset Allocation and Management from 1985-1995 as a Portfolio Assistant. She earned her Charted Financial Analyst (CFA) title in 1993. She has been with ICA since 2011.
Consultant
Barbara Bartmann
Barbara was employed by Business Man’s Assurance Company from 1981 – 2002; the last 10 years as Manager of Mortgage Servicing. Her primary responsibilities were closing and servicing of the commercial mortgage portfolio. Her responsibilities included the closing of 840 mortgages loans, totaling in excess of $1.4 billion.
